Petanque in Paris/パリのペタンク事情

After the business trip in Germany, I have stopped at Paris for a short weekend. I have made meticulous plan in Paris and made myself very busy and active. First place I visited was OBUT Concept Store on Ave.de Republique. It was nice to see all the boules from OBUT, JB, and La Boule Noire lined up. Clean and easy to find layout of the store was dream of petanque fanatic. At the display window, I found the autographed picture of Quintais-san. Reasured myself how great that I could have met him in Tokyo.
ドイツ出張を経て、短い週末をパリで過ごしました。事前に綿密なプランを練って無駄なく活動。まずOBUT社のコンセプトストアーを訪問しました。OBUTを始め、JB, La Boule Noire社のブールもずらりと並び壮観でした。簡潔に分かりやすい配置の店内はペタンク愛好家にとって夢のようでした。ショウウィンドウにはキャンテさんのサイン入り写真。東京でお会いできた事を改めて感慨深く感じました。
