Tokyo Petanque League Experience

The Ace and I have had our first appearance at Tokyo Petanque League match against HSPC at Myoshoji park, Suginami as Aoyama Petanque member. It was a beautiful park with rich shade of greens as you can see on the picture. The Ace played 2 games and won one teamed up with Toru-kun, a junior all Japan member. She have had a hard day not able to shoot well. She was shooting 90% 2days before the match... This indicates how sensitive Petanque can be. I have teamed up with Buehler-san, but lost the game. The Myoshoji pist required an experience on the ground. I had sleepless night after the lose. I was angry at myself not able to play confidently with usual way of throwing the boules. Both Ace and I will have to practice harder to overcome this frustration!
エースと私は青山ペタンクのメンバーとしてTPLに初参戦し、HSPCと杉並区の妙正寺公園で対戦しました。　　木々の作る影が美しい公園でした。　エースは２ゲームを行い、全日本ジュニア代表のトオル君と組んで１勝しました。　彼女はティールが当たらず、非常に苦しんだ一日を過ごしました。　２日前には90%の確率で当てていたのに・・・　ペタンクとはそれほど、センシティブなものなんですね。　私はビューラーさんと組んで負けました。　悔しくて眠れぬ夜を過ごしました。　自信を持って、いつも通りの投げに徹する事ができなかった自分に腹が立って！　妙正寺のグランドは経験を要する場所でした。　エースも私も、この悔しさを跳ね返すべく、練習あるのみ！
