Petanque in between Weight Training / 筋トレの合間にペタンク

I have participated in Aoyama Petanque session on Saturday. Weight Training was off for the weekend, since I wanted to play serious games and my wife was away for Volleyball coaching job and I had to take care of 2 hyper active boys...
The picture is our eldest Jay holding a cicada which just casted off. It is whitish and slow. According to Jay something drops from tree and when he picked it up, it was baby cicada. We have seen new born cicada only in encycropedia or TV show, so it brought small excitement in Aoyama Park. Jay and Kay have had great time with Tsubaki-chan a beautiful daughter of Ben-chan, my smoking budy.
My play? Despite the hard muscle aches, my performance was ok.
土曜日は青山ペタンクのセッションに参加しました。　筋トレは週末休みにしました。　家内がバレーボールのコーチングで居らず、２人の超活発な息子達の面倒を見る必要があったのと、ペタンクのゲームをしたかったからです。　
写真は長男のJayが、サナギから孵ったばかりのセミを持っている所です。　白っぽくて動きが鈍い。　Jayによると、木から何か落ちてきたので拾ったら、セミの赤ちゃんだったそうです。　辞典やテレビでしか見たことのない生まれたてのセミを見て、青山公園は静かな興奮に包まれました。　JayとKayは葉巻仲間のベンちゃんの三女ツバキちゃんと仲良く遊んでました。
肝心のプレー？ 激しい筋肉痛に見舞われながらも、まあまあでした。
