Fine Day, Petanque Day

Feb.8th, Sunday.  It was a petanque kind a day at beach where it was warm and pollen flying around, just like spring.  The ocean looked beautiful as in photo.  I over heard the conversation of someone walking the wooden board walk saying "This is a great place having beach volleyball and petanque...".  What a compliment.  We even felt like our petanque has been improved.  

There has been a construction to refurbish some part of beach and heavy duty vehicles has been using the parking lot which is our home ground for petanque.  The ground was pressed tight by that.  It made our terrain fast and gravel-full.  It has become a challenging terrain for pointer.  However it is perfect to try the porte which I have been working on.  I lost many games, but when I mastered the porte, I will be winning every game!  ....I wish...

2月8日の日曜日。花粉も飛んで春の陽気のビーチで、ペタンクを満喫しました。　海も奇麗だし、暑いくらいの陽気でした。　ボードウォークを行く人が”ここはビーチバレーあり、ペタンクありでイイ所だな～”と言うのが聞こえてしまい、嬉しい限り。　我々のレベルも徐々に上がって来ている気さえします。　ビーチ改良のため重機が入り、駐車場である我々のホームグランドは撒いた砂利が完全に埋まってしまうほど、踏み固められしまってます。　そのため高速の砂利テランで、ポワンテ泣かせ。　でも、日頃練習しているポルテを試すには絶好のコンディション。　結局、負け試合が多くなってしまいましたが、今練習しているポルテが完成したら、負けない！　・・・はず・・・
